About this Event

The Chicago Jazz Festival is presented in partnership with the Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events. This year, we’re pleased to present Tromblau&Friends;: Tromblau - Trombone, Dakarai Barclay - Trumpet, Max Lazarus - Saxophone, Indigo - Vocals, Julius Tucker - Piano, Carmani Edwards - Bass, Jonah Lazarus - Drums. After the band’s set, Tromblau will be spinning vinyl until close. We invite Chicago’s jazz community to join us for a celebration kicking off this year’s Jazz Fest!
