About this Event

Stuti Sharma is a stand up comic and writer who immigrated from Nairobi, Kenya and was raised in Chicago and the south suburbs. She has performed all over Chicago and her work has been featured in productions for Snap Judgement, WBEZ, OpenTV, Chicago Reader, and Warner Brothers. _Blue Collar_ is a stand-up show spotlighting comedians who know hard work, onstage and off. Whether it’s working service jobs, clocking in at the warehouse, or juggling gigs to make rent, these comics come from working class and immigrant families and backgrounds and know the struggle it takes to make it. Comics who perform have been on Netflix, Hulu, Laugh Factory, Zanies, Lincoln Lodge, and All of us have woken up early for factory shifts, stayed up past midnight waiting tables and closing the restaurant. Humor is the working class' survival strategy.
