Chicago songwriter and banjo player Al Scorch plays his heartfelt and poetically political songs with an abiding warmth and humour. He is also known for his work with science and comedy YouTube channel Crime Pays but Botany Doesn’t as well as for producing his own viral comedy videos including his popular “Chicago Park District Bathroom Architecture Review” series on his Instagram. He is one of 5 children.
