Mike Silverman, known as That 1 Guy, invented a unique instrument called “the magic pipe” after becoming dissatisfied with traditional instruments. The instrument, which resembles a cross between a harp, bass, and other objects, features two strings, trigger points, an electric saw, and a kick drum. Silverman’s innovative performances and the success of his debut album led to a record deal and the release of his second album, The Moon Is Disgusting.
