Every first Saturday of the month Our friends at DMC Entertainment host an everchanging lineup of DJs: This month's Headliners to come! Rooted in the heart of Chicago—the birthplace of House Music—DMC Entertainment is a powerhouse DJ collective made up of three seasoned selectors. With decades of experience between them, DMC Ent. brings together a rich legacy of rhythm, culture, and community through their shared love of House Music. DJ Dave C, hailing from Bucktown/Humboldt Park, got his start as a breakdancer in the early '80s before mastering the art of beatmatching and scratching. A member of the legendary Chicago Cutting Crew and Undaground Elements, Dave has rocked everything from Pan American Festivals to internet radio and FM stations like DaBooth312 and Vocalo. Marquez Antonio, a lifelong Southside Chicagoan and veteran on the decks, caught the House Music wave listening to the Hot Mix 5 on WBMX in the mid-80s. Known for his carefully curated grooves and genre-pushing sets, Marquez is also a co-founder of Groove Foundation, Eats & Beats, and DMC Entertainment. Chris Lara, born and raised in Pilsen, represents the new generation of House DJs with a deep respect for the city’s musical heritage. Through his work, Chris uplifts local talent while expanding his global reach—most recently performing at Mi Casa Holiday in Cuba. His sets seamlessly blend house and hip-hop, reflecting both legacy and innovation.
