School’s out for rock Chicago’s Uniflora, the trio of Quinn Dugan, Ruby O’Brien and Theo Williams, celebrates the record release for its new album, More Gums Than Teeth. Recorded in Pilsen between soccer games, SATs and final papers, it’s a promising opening statement from these ambitious post-punk/indie rockers. The now rock trio Feller debuted in 2024 as a duo with the moody and precise Universal Miracle Worker EP on the Angel Tapes/Fire Talk labels. Pomona-based Lottie Malkmus performs under the name Lotties. She’s joined by Adam Deike and René Garcia for her Chicago area live debut.
